The pool season for 2010 is from Saturday, May 29 through Monday, September 6. The pool is managed by Continental Pools, Inc.

The pool hours for the 2010 season are:
 
Monday - Friday:   12:00 p.m. -  8:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Holidays: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
 
 
 
 

Please Note:
  • Admittance to the pool requires that all residents present a 2010 pool pass and to sign-in with the lifeguard. To obtain a pool pass, owners must fill out the pool pass application form and send it to Cardinal Management, attn: Victoria Garner (v.garner@cmgmt.com). Landlords are responsible for acquiring pool passes for their tenants. For more information, download a copy of the pool pass memo and/or contact Victoria Garner. 
  • One guest pass per family will be issued. A guest pass allows entry for 2 visitors per visit throughout the entire season. Visitors must be escorted by residents.
  • Residents are required to read and know the rules and regulations governing the pool (refer to Policy Resolution No. 10 below). These rules and regulations should be reviewed with all children residing in your home.
  • The entire pool area is now non-smoking. The entrance area of the pool is also non-smoking. Pool patrons who smoke are to use the common area outside the pool by the pool's emergency gate. As a courtesy to the residents of building 24, pool patrons are asked not to smoke in front of this building.
Knowledge and compliance of the pool rules will make this an enjoyable summer for all involved.


POLICY RESOLUTION NO. 10
USE OF COMMON ELEMENTS: SWIMMING POOL RULES
relating to Rules and Regulations for pool usage

All persons using the pool agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations for use of the facility. Use of the pool is at the users risk. The Association assumes no liability for injury or damage to person or property arising from use of the pool facilities except for gross negligence or intentional wrong doing an the part of the Association.
  1. All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. The Association assumes no responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use or for any loss or damage to personal property.
  2. Except for intentional actions and gross negligence, persons using the pool agree not to hold the Association liable for any actions of whatever nature occurring within the pool area. Unit Owners will be responsible for the actions of their children and guests.
  3. All persons shall obey the instructions of the lifeguards. No person is permitted to use the pool unless it is officially open and the lifeguards are on duty.
  4. Persons must stay clear of guard stations and not loiter at the check-in desk.
  5. Persons unable to demonstrate to the lifeguards their ability to swim are not permitted in deep water.
  6. Children 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by a responsible person 14 years of age or older in the pool area at all times.
  7. All persons must take a cleansing shower before entering pool.
  8. Persons having colds, coughs, inflamed eyes, infections, open sores or wearing bandages shall not use the pool.
  9. Only appropriate footwear will be permitted on the pool deck.
  10. No food or breakable objects are permitted in the pool area.
  11. No play equipment, playpens, wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs, strollers), etc., are permitted in the pool area.
  12. No pets are permitted in the pool area (except seeing-eye dogs).
  13. No intoxicants will be allowed in the pool area during regular pool hours. Intoxicated persons will not be allowed in the pool area at any time.
  14. All refuse must be placed in containers provided for this purpose. Owners are urged to assist in keeping the pool area and shower rooms clean.
  15. No running, pushing, dunking, rough play or profane language will be permitted in the pool area. Standing or sitting on anothers shoulders is not permitted. Kickboards, tubes, balls and toys may be permitted at the discretion of the lifeguard based on the size and character of the crowd.
  16. Spitting of water and similar unhygienic actions are not permitted.
  17. One pool pass will be issued for each family member over the age of 14 each season. All tenants must have a current lease on file with the Association. This lease must bear the name of all persons requesting a pool pass. The number of guests permitted any one time are limited to two per family. Guests will only be permitted to use the pool when escorted by a pool pass holder.
  18. Pool passes are property of the Association, are not transferable and may be revoked or suspended at any time by the Association.
